Hi Alleyra,
This week is Maori language week! Can you remember how to count to ten in Maori? We have been practising: Tahi, rua, toru, wha .... whats next?
Next Thursday we are having a Matariki Celebration at 10:30am. There will be games and we are going to wear masks. If you have a paper plate/cardboard at home make a mask like these ones then send us a picture!:

We also made Fried Bread. Here is the recipe if you want to try it.
1. Scone mix
2. Roll it into little balls
3. Dip it in hot oil (only adults can do this as it is very HOT!)
4. When cooked let it cool down
5. EAT it!
We thought it tasted like donuts!

    Thanks for that. Sorry we haven't been in yet to collect her bits and pieces but the weather has been so yucky its tricky with her cast! Hoping to get in early next week. Alleyra misses you all SO much and is looking forward to you all signing her cast!

    Hi! Thanks for the new video. She excitedly did the other one tonight in her book! So we can work on the new one tomorrow together! Thanks for the warm welcome back, she had a ball seeing everyone and you are all talked about constantly EVERY day! :)
    She had a specialist appointment once we left the school and unfortunately they wrapped a new layer of fibre glass over her old cast - I think I remember what the equation was though so we can practice that one tomorrow too! :)

    Hi everybody! My cast is now pink! The doctors wouldn't take the other one off as they usually would cause the break is so bad but they did put one layer of pink over the top! Yay for my photo! I am missing everybody SO much so it will be nice for me to look at everyones smily faces!!
