Making good choices with Constable Karl

Today Constable Karl visited room 19 again! He told as two stories and asked us some questions about some of the choices people were making in them. Read the stories below and find out what we learnt!

Story 1: Leah and Rikki wereplaying in the sandpit. Leah wanted the truck that Rikki was playing with. Shepushed Rikki and grabbed the truck. Rikki got his face in the sand and somewent in his mouth. He started to cry. Leah started to play with the truck. ThenMr Thomas came over. He had seen what had happened. He made Leah get out of thesandpit and go inside. He helped Rikki get the sand out of his mouth.
Do you like how Leah was behaving?
What don’t you like?
What happened because Leah snatched the truck?

Story 2: Everyone was drawinga picture to go on the wall. Caleb only had two different coloured pencils. Amber said he could use some of hers. Calebwas happy and he told Amber how good her picture was. Mrs Henry said that Caleband Amber had both done lovely pictures and gave them a sticker because theyhad worked well together
What did Amber do that you liked?
What happened when Amber shared the pencils?

Who do you want to be like? Amber? Or Leah?

After Constable Karl left we came up with a list of good choices and bad choices and the consequences/rewards for each. Come in and have a look at them on our wall!
