Important times/dates for end of term

Just to clarify ...

Friday (tomorrow) 
- Mufti Day to raise money for the Cancer Society
- Reports go home
Monday 17th : 
- Family Teddy Bear's Picnic (children can bring bee costumes to wear)
Tuesday18th : 
- Swimming day
Friday 20th :
 - Assembly at 12:15pm (Room 22 will be preforming a special dance we have been practising)
- School finished at 1:30pm

Room 6's Xmas Donation

Room 6 are spreading the Christmas Cheer, and are collecting presents to donate to the Monte Cecilia House for families who can't afford presents for their children.
If you would like to donate could you please bring your present wrapped to Room 6, and have on the label boy or girl and the age range.

Teddy Bears Family Picnic

Will now be on Monday due to school commitments  12pm La Rosa Gardens New Lynn. Permission slips will be coming home tomorrow. 

Swimming

This week we are lucky to have 2 swimming times!
Our extra time is Thursday at 1245.

Pine Trees

Today we talked about pine trees and how in some cultures they are used as Christmas Trees. We decided to make our own pine trees with the help of Miss Read. First we used the window to trace around our tree. Miss Read told us that pine trees have pine needles so we used green crayons on the rough deck to colour our paper in. Then we ripped our paper into small squares and collaged it! Come in and see the finished product tomorrow!
